Academy of Art

The Oxford Arts Alliance is pleased to offer youth and teen lessons for students aged 7 and above. Students will cultivate their artistic skills through our seasoned instructors who will customize lessons based on their level and individual goals.

New Class Offerings

  • Introductory Lessons: Exploring Creativity

    Ideal for beginners, focusing on creative confidence and an introduction to various art materials and methods.

    Duration/Frequency: 30 minutes, bi-weekly

    Monthly Tuition: $30 (2 sessions)

    Materials Fee: $30 per 12 sessions ($3/session)

    Suggested Age: 7+

  • Introductory Lessons: Building Foundations

    A comprehensive introductory experience exploring diverse art-making practices and materials.

    Duration/Frequency: 30 minutes, weekly

    Monthly Tuition: $60 (4 sessions)

    Materials Fee: $20 per 12 sessions ($2/session)

    Suggested Age: 10+

  • Advanced Lessons: Studio Growth and Development

    For students aiming to explore art forms and techniques in-depth, including discussions on art topics and artists.

    Duration/Frequency: 60 minutes, weekly

    Monthly Tuition: $120 (4 sessions)

    Materials Fee: $20 per 12 sessions ($2/session)

    Suggested Age: 13+

  • Advanced Lessons: Portfolio Preparation

    Designed for aspiring artists focusing on developing a strong portfolio for advanced studies or professional endeavors

    Duration/Frequency: 60 minutes, weekly

    Monthly Tuition: $120 (4 sessions)

    Materials Fee: $20 per 12 sessions ($2/session)

    Suggested Age: 16+

Our art faculty are professional artists and teachers with credentials including Kutztown University, Southern New Hampshire University, Savannah College of Art and Design and University of Delaware.

Membership

Art lessons are exclusively for OxAA members. By registering for lessons you automatically become a student member.

Membership fees for the Oxford Arts Alliance are tax-deductible.

Tuition

The Oxford Arts Alliance is a registered 501 c(3) nonprofit organization that creates an environment for working artists and musicians to teach in Oxford, PA.

Tuition is invoiced on the 1st day of the month. Payment must be made by the 15th of the month.

* Federal holidays, town events, and instructor vacations have been calculated into the price of tuition.

Lessons are held at the Oxford Arts Alliance, 38 S. 3rd St, Oxford, PA 19363. The Academy is located on the first and second floors.
