UPDATED: Our COVID-19 Plan at the Oxford Arts Alliance
The Oxford Arts Alliance has now entered Level 4 of our Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Outbreak Plan and we will be closing the building March 16th through April 30th. The safety and health of our members, students, staff, and faculty is our priority. We will continue to monitor the situation as it evolves and reevaluate any closures, postponements, or rescheduled classes and events as we learn more about the outbreak. For now, we ask that you stay home with your family as recommended by Governor Tom Wolf. Our timeline will be re-evaluated on or around April 30th.
We have a commitment to everyone we serve in our community. These are the actions we have taken to ensure financial security for our faculty, continued learning for our students, and exposure for our exhibiting artists:
Online private lessons have been implemented for our music and art academy
Our Color Run has been postponed until further notice
Our art receptions and group classes (youth and adult) have been rescheduled
Staff will continue to work from home during our building's closure to keep up with administrative work, answer any questions and concerns via email, and more!
If you have traveled recently, have been exposed to the virus, or you are exhibiting signs of the virus please self-isolate for 14 days as recommended by the CDC and follow up with a doctor. You can read more here: https://www.cdc.gov/
We know how this has affected our community in Oxford. We ask that you consider buying gift cards, gift certificates or delivery from our neighbors and local businesses through this trying time. You can find Oxford's business directory here: Business Directory
