The Oxford Arts Alliance will present:
What makes a house become more than a living space? How does it become a true
extension of who we are and how we experience the world? A canvas onto which we
express who we are? A lens through which others can glimpse into our persona? This
stunning documentary by Don Freeman captures this with grace and grandeur. It is an
intimate look inside the unique homes designed and crafted by the artists who lived in
them. From Frederick Church’s Olana, overlooking Catskill vistas to Paolo Soleri’s
structure cast from silt in the Arizona desert, these houses will awaken your imagination
and will encourage you to think about Architectural Design in a whole new way.
Winner Best Documentary Film 2015 - Atlas & Aeris International Magazine of
Independent Film and a host of other awards.
Inviting friends old and new to join award winning architect, Ed Rahme for his insights
into the creative design of homes from concept to completion. An artist in his own right,
Ed will offer his unique perspective and design philosophy gained through 25 years
experience at “Ed Rahme Architect.”
