"Virtual Vinyl is a program I'm bringing back for 2023 for my advanced students.  In part, this is to build up their knowledge of classic repertoire - it could be rock oriented, it could be jazz oriented...There will likely be one episode in each musical style per month."

- Bryan Tuk

Bryan has been playing drums for over 30 years.  His most formative years were spent as a 5 time DCI finalist in the percussion section Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps under Mark Thurston and his staff from 1989-1993.  The lessons learned there about drumming, music, responsibility, hard work, and determination serve Bryan still to this day in all different types of environments.

In addition to teaching privately, Bryan is an independent recording artist and leads The Bryan Tuk Complex, a 14 piece high energy jazz/funk/rock group based in eastern Pennsylvania. Bryan’s recordings include Liftoff (2019), Life in High Gravity (2019), TMF Organ Trio (2021) and Rooftop Riot: The Bryan Tuk Complex Live (2021).

Bryan attended West Chester University and studied percussion with the music department there, working on tympani, mallet instruments, orchestral percussion and music theory.  Bryan also studied drumset with the great Tommy Igoe.

Bryan has taught many high school and university marching drumlines, including Kennett High School and Downingtown West High School.

Bryan is a voting member of the Recording Academy, and a member of both the Percussive Arts Society and the American Society for Composers and Producers

Couldn’t ask for a better teacher of percussion! He knows everything you could ever want and lets you dabble in your interests. Feel like making a drum loop today … sure! The best!

Bryan is one of the if not the best drum instructor ever. One thing he does best is that he expands upon your vocabulary from rudimental drumming to big band charts. He is extremely talented at what he does. If you are in the area and are looking for an instructor that helps you grow as a musician and a drummer, he is the best choice!!! Thank you for all the support you have given to students like me.
