Writing A Screenplay
Work with an experienced screenwriter who has also taught at the college level. This class is intended to teach the beginning screenwriter step-by-step process of writing a screenplay for film from concept to completion. Course will focus on the technical elements of screenwriting. Topics will include selecting a genre, formatting, plot structure, character development using action and dialogue, process of moving narrative forward and identifying resources for marketing screenplays.
Although not required, it may be helpful to come to the workshop knowing what genre, and a paragraph of what the story could be about.
