An Octave of Fun - Flutophone Camp - Ages 6+ - Mondays | 5:30–6:30 PM

$100.00

Join us for a fun and engaging introduction to music through the Flutophone! This beginner-friendly camp is designed for young musicians who are interested in learning the basics of wind instruments, reading music, and playing together as a group.

Students will learn proper breathing techniques, finger placement, rhythm, and note reading while exploring simple melodies and musical exercises. Throughout the camp, participants will build confidence as they practice both individually and collaboratively.

The Flutophone is an excellent first instrument for children beginning their musical journey and helps develop foundational skills that easily transfer to recorder, flute, and other wind instruments.

The camp will be taught by community bell choir director Miss Lavenia, who brings years of experience teaching young musicians in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Each student will receive their own Flutophone and music book to keep, allowing them to continue practicing at home after the camp concludes.

The program will culminate in a small recital for family and friends where students will showcase what they have learned.
