In this beginner-friendly embroidery class, participants will be guided through essential embroidery techniques while creating a sampler featuring many of the most commonly used stitches.
Participants will learn about essential embroidery supplies and practice a variety of stitches, including running stitch, back stitch, chain stitch, straight stitch, lazy daisy, and French knot. The focus is on building confidence and familiarity with hand embroidery in a relaxed, supportive environment.
No prior embroidery experience is required. All materials needed for the class are provided including fabric, embroidery floss, needle, 8 inch hoop, and threader all of which you keep to practice at home.
This class is best suited for participants ages 13 and older.Tickets: $40 per person
All materials are included—just bring your creativity.
This class is open to all skill levels.
The Octoraro Hotel’s bar and kitchen will be open for food and drink orders during the event.
