Grades 11&12
Industry, innovation, and artistic leadership.
In this advanced-level camp, students will explore Chester County’s industrial roots and the impact of iron and steel on regional and national growth. Campers will take on leadership roles in the design and execution of a Liberty Bell artwork, incorporating metallic textures, structural elements, and bold visual concepts.
Participants will refine their artistic techniques while mentoring younger ideas within a collaborative environment.
This camp is ideal for students interested in both art and history, with an emphasis on creativity, craftsmanship, and leadership.
The program will be taught by Oxford Arts Alliance board member and art instructor Patty Moshanko, who brings extensive experience in drawing, painting, and design, as well as years of teaching at the university level.
By the end of the week, campers will have contributed to a large-scale Liberty Bell that will be displayed in the community as part of the America250 celebration in October.
Dates: August 3-7, Monday - Friday
Time: 9am-1pm
Tuition: $0
Important Registration Commitment:
These camps are offered at no cost and space is extremely limited. Due to high demand, we expect all registered participants to attend each day of their selected camp. If your plans change, please notify us as soon as possible so we can offer your spot to another student.
