Evolving Values Camp

Grades 7–8

Art with meaning. History with impact.

This camp invites students to explore powerful themes like freedom, justice, and change over time. Through discussion and creative expression, campers will interpret ideas such as courage, hope, and equality—drawing inspiration from local history, including the Underground Railroad.

Students will translate these concepts into symbolic imagery as they collaborate on a Liberty Bell design that tells a deeper story.

This thoughtful and engaging experience will be taught by Lincoln University professor Marlene Lacy, bringing a rich academic and cultural perspective to the program.

This is a unique opportunity for students to connect art, history, and personal expression in a meaningful and inspiring way.

By the end of the week, campers will have contributed to a large-scale Liberty Bell that will be displayed in the community as part of the America250 celebration in October.

Dates: July 6-10, Monday - Friday

Time: 9am-1pm

Tuition: $0

Important Registration Commitment:
These camps are offered at no cost and space is extremely limited. Due to high demand, we expect all registered participants to attend each day of their selected camp. If your plans change, please notify us as soon as possible so we can offer your spot to another student.
